A beautiful English Countryside Wedding wearing Phillipa Lepley Couture
The bride wore Phillipa Lepley couture for her beautiful English Countryside wedding.
Phillipa Lepley bride Rachel travelled from Hong Kong to London for the creation of her bespoke wedding dress.
Her couture design featured a sleek, corseted column gown in Italian duchess satin, overlaid with ‘Fleur de Jardin’ corded lace. Each delicate flower was defined by satin cording and appliquéd by hand using fine needlework in the London Atelier. The lace created a soft, feminine texture, allowing the satin beneath to subtly gleam through.
The neckline formed a gentle scoop that transitioned seamlessly from front to back, framed by narrow organza straps edged with scalloped lace to highlight the shoulders and collarbone. Fine glass bead detailing, hand-embellished throughout, added a discreet shimmer that caught the light with every movement. Bridal buttons and loops traced the centre back, finishing above a soft slit for ease of movement.
A bespoke, detachable Watteau train in matching lace elevated the silhouette with drama. Its scalloped edges echoed the neckline and hem, with soft pleating at the back neckline adding subtle volume.
Thoughtfully created across continents, Rachel’s gown combined a contemporary silhouette with the romance of hand-crafted lace — made in London for her wedding in Hong Kong.
