Phillipa Lepley bride Claudia married in the historic city of Salamanca, Spain, with a ceremony at the iconic Salamanca Cathedral. She wore a couture gown in heavyweight Italian duchess satin, defined by a softly draped off-the-shoulder collar. The precise shade of white satin was selected by the Phillipa Lepley team, inspired by the sandstone of Salamanca — the very stone from which the cathedral, and much of the city, is built.

The gown was paired with a couture hand-embroidered Grand Frothy Flowers silk tulle veil, its organic border delicately worked with threadwork flowers and maiden’s fern leaves. “It was far more than just a veil,” Claudia reflects. “It felt like a true work of art.”

Before finding the atelier, Claudia had tried on nearly eighty dresses in search of the right one. “What I truly wanted was a couture, made-to-measure gown, unique to me,” she says. “From the moment I stepped into the Phillipa Lepley atelier, I knew this was where my dress would come to life — and where the journey would be as meaningful as the final creation.”

Through a series of fittings, Claudia’s gown evolved through draping and careful refinement. “The team spent hours building a complete understanding of who I was — my personality, style, and spirit — exploring different silhouettes, textures, and volumes, gradually bringing my vision to life and refining every detail until we achieved the perfect bespoke design,” she reflects.

On the day itself, the moment was unforgettable. “Wearing the dress was one of the most moving experiences of my life. I felt an overwhelming sense of calm, confidence, and joy — as if every fitting, every stitch, and every dream I had ever had about this moment had finally come together. For the first time, I truly understood what it means to feel beautiful beyond appearance.”
