Meadow Party

‘Meadow Party’ continues the beloved meadow embroidery story that has become synonymous with the Phillipa Lepley atelier. Each season the design evolves as Phillipa discovers new wildflowers in her own countryside meadow. This year, the meadow blooms with new additions: delicate forget-me-nots, chamomile and marigolds, each hand-embroidered with exquisite precision using satin stitch, stem stitch, detached chain stitch, and French knots. New to the collection, bullion stitch introduces lifelike textural depth, pushing the boundaries of couture hand-embroidery.

For the first time, the embroidery is worked directly onto crisp silk taffeta rather than tulle, creating a clean, luminous surface. Cut to a midi length with a dropped waist and softly voluminous skirt, the silhouette balances playful charm with refined elegance, shaped internally by the atelier’s signature corsetry.
