Ursula Berry

‘Ursula Berry’ is a strong-silhouetted couture wedding dress introducing a new ‘Berry’ embroidered tulle to the Phillipa Lepley couture collection.

The overlay is crafted from embroidered tulle with an ivy-like texture, scattered with small budded berry motifs. Over-embroidered with couched cording, it adds depth and structure, with fine threadwork and open stitching throughout. 

Rich in berries and leaves, the design is inspired by hawthorn berries and cow parsley before bloom offering a modern alternative to traditional floral bridal embroidery.

The tulle is layered over white matte satin and supported by a signature internal sculpting corset, forming a soft column skirt silhouette. Structured shoulders, shaped through intensive atelier construction, and a high collar add poise and definition. The skirt finishes at floor length, while the overlay extends into a dramatic train with over 100 buttons running down the back of the gown.
