Vienna Satin Opera Sleeves

Cut in Phillipa’s signature ivory duchess satin, ‘Vienna Satin Opera Sleeves’ explores sculptural proportion through dramatic opera sleeves formed from overlapping, asymmetric panels. Each panel is meticulously hand-stitched to create a bold yet graceful shape that frames the arms.

The sleeves are hand-embroidered with delicate silk-shaded roses – a new technique introduced to the couture collection. Hidden within the sleeve interior lies an unexpected flourish: shaded rose embroidery peeping through in fleeting glimpses as the bride moves. A removable Watteau train falls from the back neckline, its border adorned with a hand-embroidered wreath of roses. 

The gown unites two of Phillipa’s great loves – romantic, intricate hand-embroidery and sumptuous duchess satin – resulting in a design at once grand, sculptural, and utterly timeless.
