Meticulously crafted by hand, the gown is adorned with an abundance of forget-me-not flowers embroidered onto a diaphanous canvas of fine tulle. Using refined, satin-stitch techniques, the hand-embroidery gradually crescendos from the hem, upward, echoing the organic growth of wild blossoms.
This intricate scattering of florals intensifies at the strapless bodice, where larger three-dimensional organza dahlias are interspersed to create depth and texture. Each bloom is delicately overstitched with frosted glass crystals, ivory pearls, and tiny pearlescent seed beads, lending the gown a soft, luminous shimmer.
A specially developed, lightweight Phillipa Lepley corset draws the eye to the waistline, sculpting a refined, feminine silhouette.
Despite its voluminous appearance, the skirt remains light and weightless. During toile mock ups at the Phillipa Lepley Atelier, the structure was refined to create a balance between lightness and volume – carefully developed layer by layer using soft petticoats, airy organza, and fine tulle.
The result is a gown that moves effortlessly and feels weightless to wear – suited to all wedding settings, from grand English stately homes to sun-drenched destination ceremonies.
