A slipper satin base forms the canvas for lightly draped georgette over a modern square neckline. A signature Phillipa Lepley corset lies within to ensure flawless fit and support, sculpting the silhouette with discreet craftsmanship.

Yet, it is in the sleeves that ‘Venice Butterfly Leaves’ reveals its most intricate artistry. Constructed in fine tulle, the ‘puffed’ sleeves serve as the framework for an exquisite embroidery display. Meandering strands of acanthus leaves are meticulously hand-embroidered using a combination of organza appliqué and threadwork edging.
