Diane wears bespoke Phillipa Lepley
Phillipa Lepley bride Diane wore a high-neck, bespoke gown defined by a basque-waist corseted bodice, hand-embroidered with fuchsia, iris, and peony roses.
A tulle bodice with pretty cap sleeves formed the base for Maiden’s Fern, Primroses, and Orchids embroidery. Using refined couture techniques such as satin stitch, each individual floral motif was considerately placed by Phillipa’s artisan team at The Atelier in Chelsea, London and skilfully embroidered into position. Finishing at the waist, the embroidery was embellished with delicate pearls and clear crystal seed beads that beautifully reflected the spring light.
With a couture Phillipa Lepley wedding dress, the bride has the opportunity to make bespoke changes to their dress to ensure it perfectly complements their own style and their wedding day. Tabitha chose to extend the train of her dress, which balanced the proportions beautifully and created a beautiful entrance as she walked down the aisle.
The dress was hand-finished with delicate buttons and loops at the centre back for an elegant, feminine touch. Tabitha completed her bridal look with a long, silk tulle veil featuring Maiden’s Fern leaves organically growing around the edge.
